How do I log into the course?

If this is your first time accessing the course materials, welcome! Accessing the course materials is a simple three step process: 

1. Sign up 
Begin by clicking the yellow button above that says "click here to access the accelerator." This will take you to a page that says "Join The Punchy Books Accelerator (by Platypus Publishing)." Fill in your full name, your email address (***please make sure this is the same email address you used to buy the accelerator***), and create a password. Once done, please select the box that says "I agree to the Circle terms of service and have read the privacy policy", and then press "Sign Up". 

2. Fill in your profile
Once you've signed up, you'll automatically be taken to a page that says "Welcome! Let's start by creating your profile". This profile is for the Punchy Books community. Fill in the required fields on this page and upload a profile photo if you'd like. Don't worry, you can change all of these settings later.

As a reminder, along with the course materials, you also get access to a bonus community of fellow PBA (Punchy Books Accelerator) future authors. Everyone in the PBA community is working towards the same goal - writing and publishing their book! You are not obligated to participate in the community, however we've found that the most successful students do engage - meaningfully and often, so we encourage you to as well!

3. Dive into the material
Press complete and you're in! To find the course content, please look at the left side of your screen where you'll see a peach colored column. The course content can be found by clicking on "#   The Punchy Books Accelerator" under Courses near the top of that peach column. 

My email/password isn't working, what do I do?

No worries! This happens to all of us sometimes. The first thing to do is to navigate to this log in page. On the log in page, try to log in with any alternative emails you might have used to sign up for the accelerator. Using an alternate email is by far the #1 issue that we see in these cases. 

If you're not sure what email you used, we suggest selecting "forgot your password?", entering the email you think you used for your account and clicking "reset my password". If the reset password link doesn't arrive in your inbox within a few minutes, try another email address.

If none of your email addresses result in receiving a password reset email, send us an email at support@punchybooks.CO (yes, .co!) and we would be happy to investigate and send you a personalized invite. 

How do I see the course content after I log in?

Fantastic - you've signed up successfully! To access the course materials, please look to the left side of your screen where you'll see a peach colored column. The course content can be found by clicking on "# The Punchy Books Accelerator" under Courses near the top of that peach column.

You have the power! Instead of Matt calling you, he actually asks that you schedule a time with him when you know you'll be available. His schedule and additional information about when and how to schedule this call can be found by clicking on the purple button below.

Where is my receipt?

Your receipt has been sent to the email address you used when you purchased the course. If you search in your email for "Punchy Books", an email should come up from "Punchy Books <receipts@thrivecart.email>". If you don't see it in your inbox, it might be hiding in your promotions or spam folders. Please navigate to those folders and search again to find it. If you sill can't find it, no worries! Send an email to support@punchybooks.co and we can send you another copy of your receipt.

How do Payment Plans work?

Your total purchase is divided into four installments of $357 each. If you're reading this, you've already made your first payment, so only three more to go! Installments are automatically collected monthly on the same date you made your initial purchase. For example, if you bought the course on February 14th, your next payments will be on 3/14, 4/14, and 5/14. We'll send you reminder emails 2 days and 1 day before each payment is processed.

You signed up for a payment plan, not a subscription. After the fourth installment, no additional payments will be collected, and you'll have lifetime access to the course, community and bonuses.

What is the Punchy Books community?

Along with the course materials, you also get instant access to a bonus community of fellow PBA (Punchy Books Accelerator) future authors. Everyone in the PBA community is working towards the same goal - writing and publishing their book!

There are several perks of the community - within the course platform there are several "spaces" where future authors discuss book topics, vote on titles, share their substacks, give feedback on book covers, find accountability partners and more. You are not obligated to participate in the community, however we've found that the most successful students do engage - meaningfully and often; so we encourage you to as well!

How do I find an accountability partner?

Having an accountability partner is an optional, but *highly encouraged* supplement to the program.

An accountability partner is a fellow student that you meet with regularly-- to hold each other accountable for doing the work you committed to, to give each other feedback, and to have fun and connect!

To find an Accountability Partner: Once you have logged into the course, please go to the Member Directory on the left-hand sidebar, and browse member's profiles. You can filter the results by tags such as Location/Time Zone, Book topic, etc. in order to find a good fit! Once you've found your good fit, reach out to the person of your choice directly and schedule a meeting with them via any platform you'd like (Zoom, FaceTime, phone call, etc.). Additionally, you can post in the #AccountabilityPartners channel.

If you're happy with your match-- great! I recommend meeting once a week if your schedule allows. If you are unhappy with your match, simply repeat the process as many weeks as needed.

Please show up to your accountability partner meetings, or at least be courteous enough to reach out to your partner to cancel/reschedule. If your partner is ever unsupportive during your call, please email us at support@punchybooks.co and they will be removed from the program. We expect you to be respectful of each other, and have no tolerance for other behavior.
