A Brief Guide

We're glad you're excited about your 1:1 call with Matt! This page will provide you with all of the information you'll need to not only book your call, but get the most out of your time with Matt.

As a reminder, 1:1 calls with Matt are available only to those who purchased the course while watching the initial masterclass. If you qualify for the call, you were automatically added to the "1-on-1 Coaching Call Preparation" course and should see it under "Courses" on the left side of the course platform as shown in the image below. 

KEY THINGS TO KNOW:

1. I won't be calling you immediately post-purchase 
Why? Because this isn't just any call. This call is designed to be a powerhouse of strategy and insight, uniquely tailored to your writing journey and helping you get "unstuck" from your specific biggest issue.

If I called you immediately after purchasing, you wouldn't know your biggest issue yet and I wouldn't be able to provide the maximum value to you by helping you overcome it.  

I’ve found that the ideal time for students to request this call is usually between weeks 4 to 6 of the Accelerator. This is when most students encounter hurdles, and our session can provide timely, impactful guidance.

But don't worry! You have unlimited email support from me and my team for any smaller questions along the way. Please send an email to support@punchybooks.co (yes, .co, NOT .com!)

2. Great strategy calls require prep work
I've been doing this awhile and the #1 indicator of how impactful a strategy call is, is if the student prepped for the call. To help you get the most out of our call, I've created a concise prep module for you to complete prior to our session. 

Here's what's included:

- Common Pitfalls: Learn from others' missteps to navigate your course experience flawlessly.

- Session Expectations: Know what to anticipate from our call and the seamless process of scheduling it.

You should already have access to the prep module in your Course Dashboard. To find it, look to the lefthand side of your screen and it should be below The Audience-Building Machine course, as shown in the photo below.
3. Scheduling your call is simple 
At the end of the required Prep Module, there is a link to book time on my calendar. You know your schedule best so please select a time that works well for you.

New times are released every Tuesday, so please check back or reach out to support@punchybooks.co (yes, .co, NOT .com!) and we'll make sure you get scheduled.

What happens if I need to reschedule? 

No worries at all! We completely understand that schedules sometimes change. In order to reschedule your call with Matt, please follow the following steps: 

1. Find the confirmation email in your inbox. The email should be from Matt Rudnitsky (rud@plat.pub) 
2. Scroll down to where it says "Need to make changes to this event?"
3. Click on the link next to Reschedule which will take you back to Matt's calendar for you to select a new date/time.
Please keep in mind that you can reschedule as many times as you'd like, but please do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled coaching call. If an emergency comes up and you must miss your call, please reach out to support@punchybooks.co (yes, .co, NOT .com!) and we'll work with you to get you rescheduled. 

Is my 1-on-1 call in my timezone? 

Yes, the times will automatically be displayed in your current time zone - just choose the date and time that work best for you. Double check as per the photo below to ensure time-zone accuracy.

Can I send stuff to Matt before my call?

Yes, of course! Please email any materials to support@punchybooks.co (yes, .co, NOT .com!) and they will be passed on to him. 

Please include what you are specifically looking for help with (if you have specific questions, discussion points or parts of the doc that you're most unclear on), and he will do his best to review before the call.

No times work for my schedule, what should I do? 

The schedule updates 14 days in advance (generally on Tuesdays). So if one of the current slots doesn't work for you, please check back on Tuesday. If there's still no times that work for your schedule, send us an email at support@punchybooks.co (yes, .co, NOT .com!) and we'll work with both Matt and you to find a time that works for all. 

I think I qualify for a 1-on-1 call but I don't have the Prep Module!

No worries! Sometimes this happens when you used a different email to sign up to watch the Masterclass vs to purchase the Accelerator or if there was a typo in your email. 

In order to check if you qualify, please send us an email at support@punchybooks.co (yes, .co, NOT .com) and we'll reach out with an answer within 1 business day.

I have more questions, where can I send them? 

As a reminder, you have unlimited email support. We're here to support you and are happy to answer any questions that may come up as you progress through the course.
